Becker and Fagen know that 19 might make for a nice night, but there's nothing long term there. And that's why 33 is way better than 19. 19 is charred. 33 is marinated and slow cooked.

Well, it was the year prohibition began. Yes, in that year Woodrow Wilson won the Nobel Peace Prize, but the Volstead Act passed over his veto. If ever there was a time to turn aside pacifism and raise up arms, it should've been for the cause of drinking. You blew that one Woody.

In 1919 Teddy Roosevelt died, or did he? With his CV, it wouldn't surprise me if he was hunting genetically created dinosaurs with Biggie and Pac on the secret island people who fake their own deaths hide out on. And our long national nightmare began, with the births of George Wallace and Liberace, and continues today with the prolonged presence of 1919 birthday boy Andy Rooney.
